Epitaph (Poem)
61
Don't cry for me, I have not gone;
Although you don't see me, my soul lives on.
I survive in everything I once held dear;
I'll never leave you, so have no fear.
Think of me simply with a smile,
Even though I was with you only for a while
We'll be together again in another time,
As in lives before, our souls will intertwine.
And every time someone speaks my name,
I'll subsist again, that you can proclaim!
So tell a joke and laugh out loud,
For I've never been closer than I am right
now!
