Lessons Learned (Poem)

LESSONS LEARNED
This life has many journeys
That we must undertake,
And what is taught we do amass
For more than learning’s sake.
For many of our travels
We traverse on similar tail,
Thus when once more the test does leer
The seasoned traveler will not fail.
When a challenge does present itself
Remember to save it fast,
Where it can be once again retrieved
To handle troubles as was done in the past.
So be then ever ready
To meet with each new foe
With shield forged from prior mistakes
And victorious you will grow.
