Forever Friends (Poem)

Forever Friends
You’ve known me since I was just a child,
And together we watched each other grow.
Although our lives have not been mild,
There isn’t a secret that you don’t know.
More like sisters than resembling friends,
No matter how many miles kept us apart.
On the other’s support we could always depend,
With never a need for the use of a chart.
Now as we sit and reminisce
And dream of the memories we do share,
A thousand smiles light up our lives
Thankful for the bond that’s always been there.
